Guthrie County State Bank was established in 1931 in Guthrie Center, Iowa, to serve residents and businesses of the area. We opened our Panora location in 1998, offering the same friendly and convenient service to the Panora and Lake Panorama communities.
As a locally owned and independent community bank, we offer a wide range of services and products. Our offering is comparable to those of larger financial institutions, but we deliver these services with a higher level of consideration and attention to detail. We listen to your individual needs and work with you to deliver a financial solution that is right for you.
Our employees are trained and committed to this high level of service because we know you have many options for your financial services. We are available when our customers need us and we are active citizens of the communities of Guthrie Center, Panora and Lake Panorama. Our tagline, “Connecting Communities,” applies to our presence in the communities we serve commercially and philanthropically. It also speaks to the connections made because of the financial solutions we seek to provide.
We offer all types of loans to our customers, including personal, real estate, commercial and agriculture. In addition, we are active in the real estate market, including residential, commercial and agricultural property. It is our desire to be the foundation of any commercial growth that will be beneficial to our area.
With a wide variety of deposit accounts, most any customer can safely manage their personal and business funds, accessing them in a variety of ways. Guthrie County State Bank offers online banking and check imaging, so customers can take care of their financial matters any time, day or night.
We hope to have the opportunity to serve you and encourage you to contact us with any questions.
