Affluent Checking

- Compounding and crediting frequency - Interest compounded monthly, interest credited monthly.
- Rate information -Click on the Rates link or contact us for current rate information. At our discretion, we may change the interest rate and annual percentage yield quarterly, the first of January, April, July, and October.
- Effect of closing an account - If you close your account before interest is credited, you will not receive the accrued interest.
- Minimum balance to obtain the annual percentage yield disclosed - You must maintain a balance within the levels described on our rate sheet in order to receive that levels disclosed annual percentage yield. To get rate information click on our Rates line or contact us. If your balance changes to a different level you will receive the new levels rate for as long as you remain in the new level. A minimum balance of at least $500.00 must be maintained in the account each day to obtain the disclosed annual percentage yield.
- Daily balance computation method - We use the daily balance method to calculate the interest on your account. This method applies a daily periodic rate to the principal in the account each day.
- Accrual of interest on noncash deposits - Interest begins to accrue no later than the business day we receive credit for the deposit of noncash items (for example, checks).
