Career Opportunity: Personal Banker


Guthrie County State Bank has a full-time position available for a Personal Banker in our Panora location. Our independent, locally-owned bank is fully invested in our community.

This customer focused service position reports to the executive vice president/cashier and/or branch manager and is responsible for processing customer financial transactions including opening new accounts and servicing existing accounts. 

Job requirements include:

  • Able to represent the values, confidentiality and ethical standards of our organization to our customers and the general public
  • Must be able to proficiently use the core operating system and the Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word and Outlook 
  • Operating a teller window
  • Assisting customers with transactions and service needs
  • High school diploma
  • Minimum 1 to 2 years of customer service experience
  • Basic knowledge of accounting is a plus

This position works in a bank office environment Monday through Friday with Saturday rotation. The salary is commensurate with experience. We offer excellent benefits including:
