Two Guthrie County State Bank employees and four Guthrie County Abstract Employees celebrated milestone anniversaries recently. The employees were recognized at an all-employee meeting and awarded a monetary gift representing their number of years with the company. To further honor these employees, a matching donation was made in their honor to a local non-profit organization of their choice.
“Knowledgeable, experienced employees are essential to providing the level of customer service we expect to deliver,” said Mike Underwood, president and chief financial officer, Guthrie County State Bank. “We believe it’s important to not only recognize them and their years of service, but also to extend and connect that commitment out into the communities we serve.”
Employees celebrating milestone anniversaries in the first half of 2013 with Guthrie County State Bank include Brandon Monaghan, vice president at the Panora location, celebrating five years with the bank and Kathy Hupp, personal banker at the Panora location, who is celebrating her 10-year anniversary.
Guthrie County Bancshares purchased Guthrie County Abstract in 2008 so all four employees are celebrating their five-year anniversary. Judy Hilgenberg, Lori Bennett and Kim Buttler, abstracters, and Janet Hayes, office assistant, all reached this milestone.
