Sign refresh complete at Guthrie County State Bank in Panora

This past winter, our Panora location employees pulled into the office one freezing morning to see that our sign in front of the building had turned into the leaning tower of Panora overnight. A small leak in the casing of the sign turned into a water source, and much like a freezing pipe in a house, this caused ice to build up inside the sign. The weight of the ice and the freeze/thaw cycles of a typical Iowa winter eventually led to the top portion of the pedestal sign to tilt toward the parking lot.

For safety we had the top portion removed and went through the process of updating the sign. We refreshed the casing and panels, added a new coat of paint to the pedestal and the new sign was installed last week!
