GUTHRIE COUNTY STATE BANK
JULY, AUGUST, SEPTEMBER
QUARTERLY HERITAGE CLUB NEWSLETTER
Dear Heritage Club Members,
We hope you had a fun 4th of July weekend with family, friends and fireworks. What a great summer we're having despite record rainfalls and record heat. We Iowans know all about sticky weather and we're a touch bunch, but I'm sure glad someone invented air conditioning. It's been said that you know summer is here because your chair gets up when you do! Kim and I have some wonderful trips planned, so be sure to read the itineraries and sign up as soon as possible. Hopefully there's something there for everyone. Reminder: Guthre County State Bank will be closed Monday, September 6th for the Labor Day Holiday. See you at the Fair!
MONEY BAG:
There is $300 in the money bag waiting for us to draw your name. Last month Marilyn Rasmussen's name was drawn, but she wasn't present to claim her money.
Quarterly Social Event: Thursday, July 29th
We have a great afternoon planned for this quarter in Stuart, IA. We'll meet at the Stuart Fremont Theatre (2 blocks East of the Dollar General store) on Thursday, July 29th for a 1:30 matinee with popcorn. The theatre is air conditioned and has great seats so this should be a real treat for everybody. Immediately following the movie, you can walk North 1-1/2 blocks to the Historic All Saints Center for a s short tour of the newly renovated All Saints. ***(There is plenty of parking between Historic All Saints and the Theatre along N. Fremont St.) Hope to see you all there! Door prize winners last month were Delene Finnegan, Eileen Goodrich, Gladys Kading, Joyce Rochholz, Colleen Ruppert and Lucille Sewell. Thanks to Donovan Smith of Spring Hill Gardens for all the great gardening ideas.
