Southern Charm Tour

April 4 - 13, 2016
Come along on this Spring time trip that will WOW you!  We’ll not only get down South in time to see the azaleas blooming, but we’ll stop at the Wild Horse Saloon and the heart of country music, Nashville, on the way. We’ll tour the mansions and gardens of the Biltmore Estate in Ashville, NC and enjoy lunch there in the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Then we arrive at the coastal city of Charleston, where the Old South lives on. Here the 300 year old Old District still thrives with stately mansions and southern hospitality. We’ll take in the Middleton Plantation, Fort Sumter, a tea plantation, the only one in the U.S., and much more with a local guide to show us the sights. Next is the city of Savannah, where history and southern charm are everywhere.  We’ll visit Paula Dean’s ‘’Lady and Sons Restaurant’’ as well as the city markets, the riverfront and take a guided tour of Jekyll Island.  We’ll even stop at a Vadalia Onion farm in Vadalia, Georgia!

On the way home we will be “All Shook Up” as we stop in Memphis to tour Graceland, Elvis’ home. All meals, hotels, tips, attractions, motor coach transportation – every last thing (other than your own shopping and five fast food stops) is included as well as trip insurance (for health reasons).  All 10 days for $2292.00 per person. To save your spot, we need a $200.00 deposit per person.  Please call or e-mail us. This is a shared trip with Guthrie County State Bank and Glenwood State Bank Heritage Clubs.
