Jamie Patrick, EVP & Cashier at our Guthrie Center branch, has been a part of GCSB since 1997, long before the town even had a four-way stop sign. Her deep roots in the community and passion for banking have made her an integral part of our team.
A Career Built on Community
Jamie’s journey in banking began after graduating from Simpson College. She started her career at Peoples Trust and Savings Bank in Indianola before an opportunity at GCSB allowed her to return home. The move not only brought her closer to family but also gave her the chance to continue her banking career in the town where she grew up.
Through the years, Jamie has worn many hats at GCSB, starting as a loan officer and working her way up. “The rest is history,” she says with a smile.
What keeps her passionate about her role? “How the bank is focused on being community and family-oriented, along with seeing the smile on a customer’s face after we’ve helped them meet their goals or needs.”
Living the Dream in Monteith
Jamie lives in Monteith, where she enjoys spending time with family and friends. She particularly enjoys spending time with her granddaughter, Paisley Sue. She loves to travel, watch NASCAR races, and has a unique hobby—collecting Budweiser steins and memorabilia.
Her idea of the perfect way to unwind? “Sitting on my patio, enjoying the scenery, solitude, and a drink.”
