STOCKING THE SHELVES AT THE FOOD PANTRY
Every January we kickoff our Souper Bowl drive for New Opportunities. Staff, customers, and community members are encouraged to donate canned soup and GCSB matches each donation to help stock the shelves at our local food pantry.
GOOD DEEDS FOR SMALL BUSINESSES
DONATIONS TO LOCAL SCHOOLS
To help our AC/GC and Panorama schools prepare for the cold season, we rally the region to donate tissue boxes through our Tower of Tissue campaign. GCSB matches each donation box for box.
WINTER GEAR FOR FAMILIES IN NEED
We love working with Children’s Clothes Closet in Panora and New Opportunities in Guthrie Center every year to donate snowsuits and winter gear to help local kids stay warm in the winter.
EMPLOYEE-DIRECTED GIVING
Every year, our employees vote on where to direct a donation from GCSB to a worthy cause in the community. In 2024, the donation helped support the school lunch programs at AC/GC and Panorama.
GCSB SCHOLARSHIPS: SUPPORTING STUDENT VOICES
The GCSB Trudy Straub Scholarship provides $2,000 to two deserving high school seniors each year, supporting their education and recognizing their achievements in speech.
