Hannah Lange, our Personal Banker Lead at the Guthrie Center branch, is a shining example of who we are here at GCSB. Since joining us in 2023, Hannah has brought a strong work ethic, a love for community, and a drive to help others.
Finding Her Path
Hannah’s career journey has taken her across the Midwest. After earning her degree in business management from Northwest Missouri State in 2020, she worked her way up to assistant manager at Hy-Vee. Her next move led her to an Assistant Branch Manager role at a bank in Carroll, where she found her passion for banking. When an opportunity opened at GCSB, she knew she had found the perfect place to put down roots.
Her favorite part of the job? “It doesn’t feel like work since I enjoy it so much. No day is ever the same, and I truly, genuinely love what I do.”
Banking and Beyond
Hannah lives just a stone’s throw from the bank, making her a central part of the Guthrie Center community. She shared, “Guthrie has always had a soft spot in my heart growing up. I wanted to be a part of the community here more than anything.”
She fills her time with anything active—running, weightlifting, golfing, and, of course, cheering on her favorite football and basketball teams. Her golden retriever, Gracie, is her constant companion, and weekends often take her back to the family farm in northwest Iowa.
A few fun facts about Hannah:
🔹 She once considered becoming an Agriculture Education teacher before switching her major five times.
🔹 She’s an amateur woodworker, using her grandpa’s old tools to take on creative projects.
🔹 She took seminary courses for a year before deciding not to pursue an M.Div., though theology remains a deep interest.
Her ideal way to unwind? Hitting the gym, going for a run, or relaxing on the patio with Gracie and a good book.
