Getting to Know Lila
Lila Lutz joined Guthrie County State Bank in 2023, bringing her extraordinary talent for communications and loan services to our Panora branch. Her background includes work as an accountant as well as in other areas of the financial sector, making her uniquely suited for marketing and loan administration. Her dedication to getting the word out about the GCSB way has made a great impact in the community, and we’re incredibly lucky to have her!
A Longtime Fan
The impact GCSB has in the community is a big part of why Lila joined the team: “I love that it’s a small-town community bank that puts a lot of team work and money right back into the communities of Panora and Guthrie Center. It is amazing how many local organizations the team members of GCSB are involved in and how much volunteer time goes into the communities as well.”
Lila has a particular flair for serving our patrons, because before she became part of the team she was a longtime GCSB customer herself. She shared, “As a long time GCSB customer, I have always been impressed with their dedication to customer service and community involvement.” With her wealth of experience and knowledge of both sides of the desk, she brings a unique insight to her role.
Beyond Banking
When she’s not working, Lila enjoys spending time with her children at her home in Panora. She’s a proud mom of three: “Levi graduated from Panorama in 2019, Maddy is graduating in May 2025 and Laicey will be a junior at Panorama in the fall.”
Some of her favorite ways to spend time outside the bank are diving deep into genealogy research or sitting down with a good book. In the warmer months, you’ll also often find her working in the garden.
