Behind the Desk with Douglas Glade, Relationship Manager, Panora Branch
Getting to Know Douglas
Douglas Glade joined us here at the Panora Branch in spring of this year, bringing with him more than a decade of experience in residential lending and customer service. After launching his career at Wells Fargo, he transitioned from home equity and subprime lending into prime mortgages, where he’s remained ever since—helping individuals and families navigate one of life’s most important decisions: homeownership. A native of the area, Douglas says returning to serve his home community through a bank like GCSB has been a true blessing.
A Passion for Community Banking
What Douglas enjoys most about working at GCSB is the family atmosphere and the shared commitment to giving back. “This is a company that truly cares about its customers,” he says. As a Relationship Manager in Panora, Douglas fits right in, bringing a personal, down-to-earth approach to every conversation and making each customer feel seen and supported.
Beyond the Bank
Douglas lives in Earlham with his wife of 25 years, their three kids (ages 23, 18, and 13), and a very lively household that includes one dog, three cats, and ten chickens. He’s also a proud grandpa to a six-month-old grandson. When he’s not at work, you can find Douglas coaching softball, attending his kids’ sporting events, or mowing his lawn—which takes about three hours and serves as his favorite way to unwind.
A few more fun facts to know about Douglas:
- He’s held season tickets to the Denver Broncos since 2003
- He used to race motorcycles on asphalt tracks
- His favorite movies are Top Gun and Days of Thunder
- His favorite place in Guthrie County is the fairgrounds. He especially loves camping with his family at the Guthrie County Fair
Douglas’ steady presence, local roots, and dedication to customer service make him a great addition to the GCSB team. Be sure to say hello next time you stop by in Panora!
