Genevieve McCreary, a Guthrie Center native and graduate of Iowa State University with a degree in Agriculture and Life Sciences, brings valuable lending experience from her work with the Farm Service Agency. Having grown up in Guthrie County, Genevieve has seen firsthand the importance of agriculture to the community and is excited to continue supporting local producers in her new role.
“GCSB has always played a large role in our community, and I’m proud to be part of that,” Genevieve shared. She and her husband, Jake, live in Guthrie Center with their two dogs, Rose and Remi. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, spending time with family, and visiting the farm.
Tate Stetzel, also a lifelong Guthrie Center resident and Iowa State University graduate with a degree in Agricultural Business, joins the team with a strong background in agronomy and operations from his years working for local ag supply companies. His experience in agronomy sales and business planning gives him a unique perspective on the challenges and opportunities producers face today.
“I’ve always admired GCSB’s reputation for integrity and customer service,” Tate said. “I look forward to helping customers navigate the ever-changing agricultural landscape.”
Tate and his wife, Laura—also a GCSB employee—live in Guthrie Center with their two sons, Nash and Treynor. He enjoys golfing, camping, and spending time with family and friends.
